Dry Aged BBQ Beef Sandwich Recipe

Serves: 8 sandwiches
What happens to all of the trim from our hand carved steaks? We package it! It can be used in a variety of recipes, a quick, easy and flavorful one being our chopped bbq beef sandwiches! Don’t have an Instant Pot or pressure cooker? No worries – you can achieve this recipe in your slow cooker or in a stove pot.
Ingredients:
2 lbs Circle M Meats Dry Aged Beef Trim, thawed
1 cup water
1 ½ teaspoons Kosher salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
BBQ sauce to taste
8 Hamburger buns, toasted
Instant Pot Directions:
- Add beef trim to Instant Pot.
- Season with salt and pepper and add water.
- Pressure cook on high for 1 hour.
- Let pressure naturally release for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
- Remove beef trim to a cutting board and finely chop.
- Toss with your favorite BBQ sauce and serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings!
Slow Cooker Directions:
- Add beef trim to slow cooker.
- Season with salt and pepper and add water.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Using tongs, remove beef trim to a cutting board and finely chop.
- Toss with your favorite BBQ sauce and serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings!
