Great beef starts with great cattle.

Circle M beef is carefully raised and selected for exceptional flavor and consistency- so you can confidently serve Circle M Meats.

At Circle M Meats, great beef isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are. Rooted in Southern Missouri, our family organization raises registered Angus cattle with care, integrity, and a deep respect for the land and animals that sustain us. From pasture to plate, every decision is personal.

Our commitment to excellence carries through every cut we produce. All Circle M Meats beef begins with a minimum 21-day wet-aging process, hand cut by our artisan butchers and sealed in sous vide–rated vacuum packaging. This careful approach allows natural enzymes to tenderize the meat while preserving moisture, consistency, and a clean, classic beef flavor—forming the foundation for everything we offer, from wet-aged to dry-aged selections.

Our Bulk Beef and Ultimate Ground Beef come from our own Circle M Cattle. It is family owned with a registered angus herd, and cow/calf operation. Our founder, Alex Mareth has been at this all his life—he grew up with cattle, learning the ropes from the ground up. Born and raised in rural Missouri, Alex comes from generations of farmers, and his passion for agriculture runs generations deep.

Both of Alex’s grandfathers were deeply rooted in agriculture and played a pivotal role in shaping his love for the land and livestock. Their influence is the reason we do what we do today.

Alex holds a B.S. in Animal Science with a minor in Agriculture Business from Missouri State University. While at university, he gained hands-on experience working for Vathauer’s Feedyard and interning with Thomas Angus Ranch. These experiences further fueled his desire to bring best practices in cattle management back home to Southwest Missouri.

In March of 2018, we broke ground in Washburn, Missouri, to build what is now Circle M Cattle and Circle M Meats—an operation built on family values, deep agricultural roots, and a lifelong commitment to the cattle industry.Missouri.

Little Flat Creek Ranch

At Circle M, environmental and community service is the heart of what we do. The Circle M team is proud to support and contribute to the mission of Little Flat Creek Ranch. Little Flat Creek Ranch began as a family operation dedicated to preserving Missouri’s native wildlife and has grown into more than 1,800 acres in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. The property features rolling pastures, hardwood timber, spring-fed streams, and a stunning 17-acre lake. Currently,

the ranch is home to Whitetail deer and Eastern turkeys, while its waterways support largemouth bass, bluegill, catfish and rainbow trout. Today, the mission of Little Flat Creek Ranch is to provide once in a lifetime hunting and fishing opportunities for charitable organizations, the Ranch operates solely for the LFCR Dream Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit, dedicated to supporting children with life-threatening illnesses and U.S. veterans.

The Ranch provides year round service to the Catch-A-Dream Foundation, Charlie 22 Outdoors, and other charitable organizations.

Frequently Asked Questions

You’ve got questions, we’ve got answers.

At Circle M Meats, we understand that you may have some questions about our company and our products. We hope that the following FAQ information will answer any questions you may have.

  • How does the Flat Rate Shipping work?

    What is flat rate shipping?

Flat rate shipping means your shipping cost is set by your location — not by how much you order or how heavy your box is. Once you know your zone, you know your shipping cost upfront.

Why does Circle M Meats use shipping zones?

We ship frozen, premium-quality meats that require insulated packaging and reliable cold-chain delivery. Shipping zones allow us to keep pricing fair, transparent, and consistent based on distance and carrier costs — without compromising quality or care.

Where is flat rate shipping available?

Flat rate shipping is available throughout the continental 48 states.

    How are shipping rates determined?

Rates are based on regional zones that reflect distance, transit time, and carrier costs. This approach allows us to offer predictable pricing while ensuring your order arrives safely and properly frozen.

Does ordering more increase my shipping cost?

No. As long as your order ships in one standard package, your flat rate shipping cost remains the same — making it ideal for stocking up or ordering larger cuts.

Will my meat still arrive frozen?

Yes, or still cold to the touch. Every order is packed with insulated materials and cold packs to maintain proper temperature throughout transit, just as it always has been.

When will I see my shipping cost?

Your flat rate shipping cost is automatically calculated at checkout based on your delivery address — no surprises.

  • Do you ship outside of Missouri?  How often?

YES! We ship to all lower 48 states - and also have the availability to offer local pickup for our customers close to home (serving the Southwest Missouri/Northwest Arkansas area). We ship on Monday – Wednesday, every week! You can expect your order to arrive within 2-3 business days of shipment notification

  • How will my order be packed?

Orders are shipped frozen and carefully packaged with ice packs, so food stays frozen throughout the shipping process. Even if your order should thaw during delivery, if it's still cold to the touch, it's absolutely fine to use and refreeze!

  • What is sous vide–rated barrier film?

Sous vide–rated barrier film is a heavy-duty, food-safe vacuum-seal packaging designed to lock out air and protect freshness. It creates a strong seal that prevents freezer burn, preserves flavor, and extends shelf life. This type of packaging is also safe for gentle water-bath cooking, though many customers simply appreciate that it keeps their meat clean, protected, and tasting its best from our facility to their kitchen.

  • My package is leaking — what happened!?

While rare, packaging can occasionally be compromised during transit. If you receive a package that appears to be leaking, please do not use the product. Take clear photos of the packaging and the meat, then contact us right away. Once we receive the details, we’ll take care of the rest and send a replacement cut.

  • Is your beef grass fed?

Our cattle are sustainably-raised, with plenty of room to roam. We supplement our feed with a Bovine salad of onion, mustard seed, rice and fescue to create incredible marbling throughout the meat and a one-of-a-kind flavor experience with every bite! If you know Missouri, you know that winter snows can come along anytime. Our cattle are not dependent upon foraging only.

  • Can I change or cancel my order?

We cannot accept cancellations for bulk beef, however, we will do our best to accommodate for individual product changes based on where the order is in the fulfillment process.

  • Why “Free Shipping” on Bulk Beef Isn’t Really Free

Shipping perishable, heavy items like bulk beef is expensive—and “free shipping” often just means those costs are built into a higher price per pound. Many suppliers raise their prices to cover insulated packaging, dry ice, and expedited freight, so customers end up paying for shipping indirectly.

This practice can especially disadvantage local buyers who live close to the farm, since they pay the same inflated rate as someone across the country.

At Circle M Meats, we believe in transparent pricing with no uplift or hidden fees. Shipping is calculated based on your location and order size, so you know exactly what you’re paying for: premium beef, fair value, and responsible handling from our farm to your freezer.

  • How do I pay for bulk beef?

You'll pay a 25% deposit upfront, based upon a 400 lbs. of packaged beef with the remaining balance due upon shipment. The final yield of packaged beef is substantially less than the live weight. Processing weight will vary and can run close to 500 lbs. but we want to keep your deposit low.

  • What is the product breakdown of my bulk beef purchase?

WHOLE BEEF - what you get (approximately 400 lbs. of product): With the purchase of this package, you have the choice between two approximate breakdowns. Click the link below to view the detailed breakdown of each option.
