How do you turn 2 steaks into a meal for eight? A quick, easy and flavorful way is to make our chopped bbq beef sandwiches! Don’t have an Instant Pot or pressure cooker? No worries – you can achieve this recipe in your slow cooker or in a stove pot.
This recipe calls for 21 Day Dry Aged Ribeye steaks (two) but will easily serve up to 8 people!
Ingredients:
- 2 Circle M Meats 21 Day Dry Aged Steaks
- 1 cup water
- 1 ½ teaspoons Kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- BBQ sauce to taste
- 8 slices of whole grain bread, toasted
Instant Pot Directions:
- Add steaks cut up into Instant Pot.
- Season with salt and pepper and add water.
- Pressure cook on high for 1 hour.
- Let pressure naturally release for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
- Remove beef trim to a cutting board and finely chop.
- Toss lightly with your favorite BBQ sauce and serve on toast with your favorite toppings!
Slow Cooker Directions:
- Add beef trim to slow cooker.
- Season with salt and pepper and add water.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Using tongs, remove beef trim to a cutting board and finely chop.
- Toss with your favorite BBQ sauce and serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings!
