 How do you turn 2 steaks into a meal for eight? A quick, easy and flavorful way is to make our chopped bbq beef sandwiches! Don’t have an Instant Pot or pressure cooker? No worries – you can achieve this recipe in your slow cooker or in a stove pot.

 This recipe calls for 21 Day Dry Aged Ribeye steaks (two) but will easily serve up to 8 people!

Ingredients:

BBQ Red Pepper Onion at Circle M Meats

Instant Pot Directions:

  • Add steaks cut up into Instant Pot.
  • Season with salt and pepper and add water.
  • Pressure cook on high for 1 hour.
  • Let pressure naturally release for 10 minutes, then manually release any remaining pressure.
  • Remove beef trim to a cutting board and finely chop.
  • Toss lightly with your favorite BBQ sauce and serve on toast with your favorite toppings!

 

Slow Cooker Directions:

  • Add beef trim to slow cooker.
  • Season with salt and pepper and add water.
  • Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  • Using tongs, remove beef trim to a cutting board and finely chop.
  • Toss with your favorite BBQ sauce and serve on toasted buns with your favorite toppings!

  • Coleslaw (on the sandwich or on the side)
  • Red and Green pepper sliced and lightly grilled
  • Sweet Vidalia onions, sliced and lightly grilled)
  • Pickled jalapeños
